Findlay Market Opening Day Parade Information

 

Schedule:

 

7:30 AM:  All participants report to Music Room

-         Change into uniform

-         Receive final instructions

-         Load instruments and equipment on bus

 

Approx. 8:00 AM – Bus leaves

 

Approx. 8:45 AM – unload at Findlay Market

-         Only items that will travel with you during the parade will be unloaded!

-         Leave instrument cases, etc on the bus

 

10:00 – 10:30 AM – relax, visit restrooms

 

10:30 AM – Parade begins

 

11:30 AM (Approx) - we begin marching

 

Approx. 12:15 PM - finish parade, load bus

 

Approx. 12:30 – 1:45 PM  Lunch

-         Bring lunch money!!!!!!!!!!!

 

2:15 – 2:25 PM – return to Badin

 

Other notes:

Bring a snack for 9:00 - 10:30 period, and lunch money!

 

Check the weather before you leave home.  Wear layers if it will be chilly.   Out-of-uniform apparel will be appropriate for Homeroom.

 

Bring all uniform parts EXCEPT hat boxes/hats with you.  You will receive a Reds hat for the parade.  Bring your parka, too as it might rain.

 

Remember BLACK SOCKS!!!!!

 

Music is “Take Me Out To The Ball Game” and cadences.

 

Elementary students may meet Mr. Moore in the Music Room beginning at 7:15 AM.
